Looking for a roommate in Jersey City / Hoboken, Brooklyn, Manhattan - New York

Melissa - $1,500/month

About Me

I love books and reading and writing (it's a part of my job), but I also love connecting with people, rock climbing, roaming the city, and baking (I make a mean nutella-stuffed sea salt chocolate chip cookie), though I do often go through long periods where I'm surviving solely on Trader Joe's frozen meals. I'm a night owl but a quiet one, and I'm clean and considerate, especially in the shared spaces. Ideally I'd be friends with my roommates, but we would also be able give each other space. And then we'll plan for brunch on the weekends or a Friday night Netflix hangout! I'd say if you were to describe me in two words as a roommate, they'd be "easy-going" and "independent."
I care about my living space being warm and welcoming, and I want my apartment to feel like a home. It'd be great if I could live with multiple roommates and we could have a casual, community atmosphere.
I don't have a cat now, but I plan to get one once I move into my new place. So roomies must be okay with cats!
Currently I live in East Williamsburg but I'm looking to move to Manhattan because I'm working in Newark now, and my current roomie is moving into a studio!
