Looking for a roommate in Jersey City / Hoboken, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan - New York

Al E - $1,000/month

About Me

Hey. I'm Al. I've been accepted to NYU's English PhD program and I'm looking for a roommate in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, or the nearby New Jersey area. I need my own bedroom and prefer my own bathroom or multiple baths. I prefer a place with a dishwasher and washer/dryer units. I want to move in asap. Feel free to message me if you're interested or if you have any questions. Also, my email is [email protected].
Here's 9 things for my potential roommate:
- Not interested in any bigoted roommates. Open to living with students from any background. Stay woke.
- I'm very cleanly. I don't like trash anywhere but thrown away and I also like floors kept swept. On the other hand, my personal space can be an organized mess when it comes to books and trinkets. I need a roommate who can clean up after themselves in common areas.
- My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTJ. I rarely keep company exceeding one person and when I do, it never exceeds 3. I'm open to a roommate that's on either end of the spectrum, as long as their guests remain respectful.
- I'm fine with louder noise levels, as long as they don't distract me from schoolwork or a Netflix binge.
- My roommate must always ask permission to use my property unless otherwise stated for that particular item.
- No sharing food unless otherwise stated for that particular food item.
- Do Not Disturb times should always be respected unless there's an emergency.
- My pet peeves include passive aggressiveness. Please remain assertive and respectful at all times.
- I'm pretty easygoing and I stay in my lane. As long as we respect each other, everything will be cool.
