Hey, I'm Chuck. I'm 26 and recently moved from Philadelphia to Manhattan and I'll be working on Park Ave in finance. I'm looking for a roommate who is pretty laid back (as I am) who enjoys socializing and is easy going. I keep communal spaces very clean, and generally like having a neat apartment (I'm downplaying this but it's actually really important). I'm a casual sports fan, a big Chelsea F.C. fan. I'd like a roommate I can both relax with and occasionally have a serious intelligent conversation with. I listen to mostly Hip-Hop and Top 40 stuff; Some of my favorite artists are Drake, The Weeknd, Future, Chance the Rapper, and G-Eazy. Bonus points if you enjoy brunch. I cook occasionally (trying not to order delivery every night), don't mind having female roommates. I enjoy occasionally having people over. I have a few ideas that I'm working on related to tech so if you're a curious or entrepreneurial person, that's a plus. Also a big brunch fan, that's what Sunday mornings are for. My weekdays are pretty standard, up early to go to work, arrive home between 530-630 just to change clothes and go to the gym. Once I'm back from the gym it's usually food, bed, or studying so weeknights are pretty tame although I will go out if asked. Weekends are free game but I do want to find new bars, fun restaurants, and things like that. I also love some good tv (Archer, Always Sunny, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, The Walking Dead, Power, House of Cards, Rick and Morty, and a few others; also I'm not ashamed to admit that New Girl is actually also hilarious). If you think we'd be a good fit, let me know. I'm pretty interested in living in Stuytown since it's quiet and residential but close to east village and a lot of the fun nightlight in Lower Manhattan. It's ideal because when we need to we can just chill and order seamless but when we do go out we aren't super far from everything. I have an established network of friends here as well so we don't need to be attached at the hip, although I don't mind that if we get along to be honest. I don't mind having multiple roommates and honestly it would be cool if we could get a couple people together (guys, girls, whoever) and rent a big place where we could occasionally host pregames and stuff like that). Let me know if you'd like to room together.
