Available Room for Rent

BEAUTIFUL 1 BEDROOM IN FLEX 2 APARTMENT

Located on the corner of 14th St and Avenue C in a luxury elevator within Stuytown. Close to everything, including bus stop which is directly outside and L train on 1st Ave. This is a flex 2 bedroom with 1 bath and gorgeous kitchen; I am currently in the flex (it's a lot smaller with no closets); I am renting the true bedroom which has two massive closets and the square footage is huge. Windows overlook the East River, it's truly beautiful to wake up to. Room comes equipped w/ an AC and a heating system which you pay a flat fee (we split between the two ACs) $26/month. That's the ONLY utility fee that we pay aside from WIFI. The apartment overall is completely renovated w/ all new appliances and tiling; it looks like a million bucks. It's mostly furnished but with my roommate moving out she will be taking some furniture and general kitchen things which won't be much but most likely will want to replace some; especially in the living room. If you have furniture or anything you'd want to bring, I am MORE than open to you bringing it. We have a large laundry unit on the 1st floor which has about 10 washers and 15 dryers; it's the most convenient thing ever. There's also an indoor bike rack where you can store your bike if you have one and even a storage unit if you truly need one. The Stuytown area is HUGE. There's a central area that's awesome during the Spring/Summer where you can lay out, and they even show outdoor movies every Tuesday and Sunday - it's really awesome. There is a general indoor library, a café, a beautiful fountain that they light up at night, it's very accommodating to families so there are quite a few playgrounds, an indoor and outdoor ice rink during the winter - it's so sweet, a racquetball court which is actually directly outside the building. It honestly has EVERYTHING; and if it's not enough, the apartment's 2 minute walk to the East River promenade - it's so beautiful to jog or just simply take a walk. It's about 15 minute walk to Union Square if you want to go to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, go shopping, NYSC, honestly; everything and anything. The good thing about the location of the apartment is that it's not in the busy, crazy part of the East Village (ex: 1st ave) - it's 3 blocks down towards the water PLUS not a hectic walk home. I can't boast any further about it because this truly is a gem.
