Hi! I am currently living in the upper east side and love the area. My current roommate is moving to Brooklyn for work at the end of our lease - no bad blood, she just doesn't want to do the commute anymore. I work long hours January-April, and also occasionally travel for business so I won't be around too much those months. As a person, I am very easy to get along with and I love to cook! I like doing outdoor activities and going out on the weekend, but I also love having all day Netflix binges when I'm not studying for my CPA exams. My ideal roommate would be someone that I can become good friends with, and not just two people who coexist. As far as sharing goes, I'm extremely respectful of personal property and never use anything that is not mine without asking. If you think we would be a good fit as roommates, send me a message :)

*13 month lease - my roommate is moving out early for the teaching school year* The apartment is on the first floor and has two bedrooms (one unfurnished), bathroom, patio (attached to my room but we would share it), and a kitchen that is attached to the living room. The living room and kitchen are already furnished with a microwave, couch, recliner, and kitchen table (that has slots to fit wine bottles in it!!), but I'm totally up for decorating the walls or whatever you want to do! We have pretty strong heat in the winter (included in rent so the utilities come out to about $35/person/month), so don't worry about ever being freezing!
The bedroom itself is small and you would be able to fit a full sized bed, sideways dresser, and a nightstand in the room with a small space for walking. The room has a closet and you would also get the hall closet for extra storage. If you want a video walking tour of the apartment let me know and i'll be happy to send you a video of it!
