I'm leasing my room in a 2-bedroom apartment for the month of December in a beautiful pre-war building 2.5 blocks from the Brooklyn Promenade. Ideal location, cozy bedroom and an awesome roommate (who is gone about half the time) make this a great spot to temporarily crash in the city. Roughly 2 blocks from Clark Street and Borough Hall stations. Amazing restaurants, shopping and bars on your street an within walking distance. And you can be in lower Manhattan in approximately five minutes.
A few more details about the set-up: the entire apartment is fully furnished (tastefully!). Wifi and cable are included. Roommate is amazing-- she works in advertising and is extremely friendly. I promise you'll get along. The neighborhood/apartment have a really comfortable, relaxed and welcoming vibe. I think you'll feel right at home immediately!
