First, let me start by saying that the apartment is very large and spacious.

We have a private room for rent starting May 1 in a four bedroom, three story apartment in the Union Square area. This is not a converted room! The apartment itself has a full size kitchen w/ dishwasher, 2 living rooms (one has a 17ft ceiling, cable w/ DVR, high speed wireless internet, we use the other as a guest room area), 2 full size bathrooms (that are shared between the roommates), laundry in the building, our own patio out back with grill and patio furniture, etc. The room available has a nice size closet and currently fits a queen size bed, dresser, desk and end table (approx 15'x7.5') and is adjacent to our patio out back. The monthly rent is $1703 which does not include the share of utilities (electric, cable, internet, etc) which come to approximately $65/month most of the year and usually increase during July and August, depending on A/C usage.

We are a group of professionals (3 men, 26/27yo) looking for the same: professional, considerate, *clean* and respectful. We are all involved in various activities and work travel that keep us busy and typically out of the place so it never feels crowded, especially due to its size. We prefer someone that is not looking for a short term sublet.
