Originally from Oregon, I spent the last few years living abroad in China and finishing up grad school in the UK (so I now drink tea and wear slippers around the house). I used to live in a group house in DC - think something halfway between intentional communities and just having roommates - and am looking for housemates who like having the occasional late night kitchen chat or going to an event together but who also do their own thing.

I'm into watching standup, exploring bookstores, rock climbing and swimming, and I do a bit of salsa dancing. I'm a big fan of getting around by bike and hoping to do that in New York. I like having roommates from different professional backgrounds and learning from people who are in different careers or come from different backgrounds. Around the house I like to play board games, read, and play old N64 games (I'll bring mine if you don't have one!). I do public policy, and like to nerd out about public transportation, so feel free to rant about your problems with the subway :P
