Hello,

My name is Daphne, I currently live in Jacksonville, FL and have lived in Florida my whole life. My boyfriend John and I will be moving to NYC in January for work. I am in Marketing and he is graduating college in December and will be working in Computer Engineering. He is 23 and I am 22. We are looking to have a roommate since we are going to be new to the city, we figured it will help us make connections and maybe learn the city faster. We have been to NY twice in the last year to scope out areas we like and don't like, but of course we still don't "know" the city that well.

We are pretty laid back, we are clean but not overboard about it. We are respectful of other people's belongings and won't ever use anything of yours. For instance your food is YOUR food. We wont touch it.

When we are home I'm usually watching TV and my boyfriend is usually playing video games or also watching TV. We cook throughout the week, and go out a few times too. We haven't been known to have people over frequently, but it doesn't bother us if you do as long as it isn't super regular.

Important to know that we have a cat. He is very friendly and is well behaved, but of course if you have allergies or don't like cats it might not be the best situation for you. He is long-haired so he sheds quite a lot. He hates dogs, but he has lived with another cat before and became best friends with him, so if you had a cat I think that could work!
