I am a 24 year old guy from New Jersey who is looking to move into New York for work. This would be my first time living in the city, although I’ve spent my entire life pretty close to the area, so I know my way around pretty well. Starting in September, I will be working as a math teacher at a private school in the Bronx, and I am looking for an apartment reasonably close to the 1 train.

I’m a respectful and quiet roommate, who keeps common spaces very clean. People I’ve lived with before have told me I’m pretty easy to get along with. Because of my job, I’ll usually be out of the apartment during working hours Monday through Friday. I’m definitely not a party animal or anything, although I have been known to have a few drinks now and then. When I’m not working, I enjoy jogging, cooking, and reading. I’m a bit of a nerd, although the whole math teacher thing might have tipped you off to that.
