Hey!

I'm a secondary mathematics teacher who just got back from a Peace Corps service in Mozambique, Africa. When I was a volunteer, I worked in Education and taught Mathematics at a local secondary school in a rural village. Learning is a passion of mine and is the reason I studied to become a teacher. After living the simple life in Africa, I am looking to move to Jersey City and teach at a high school there. I love to read, binge-watch television series, go hiking, and go dancing. Love all kinds of music and I'm always up to try anything once. I am very flexible/chill in life. Living in a third-world country for the last two and a half years has made me versatile, patient, and open-minded. There aren't many situations that surprise me anymore. I am able to speak Portuguese and am learning Spanish as well. Ethnically, I am 100% Puerto Rican but was born and raised in NJ. Ready to start the next chapter in my life!
