We're two women in our 20's in a three-bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms looking for a female roommate to take the third (and biggest) bedroom when it becomes available July 1st. Looking for someone who can sign a lease ASAP.
The apartment's about a 10-15 minute walk from the last stop on the N/W (so you'll always get a seat in the morning). It's also off the Q101, Q100, and Q69 if that's your preferred method of transportation. It's a 2-floor walk-up (we're on the third floor) and has a small balcony which is great for relaxing on in the summer.
The apartment is officially not pet-friendly, but unofficially it is. The management company requires pre-approval of all pets and our all of our downstairs neighbors have sweet doggos. I personally don't have any pets but would love it if you did (in fact, our outgoing roommate has a cat and we love her ❤️ but she won’t be staying). We share the cost of electricity and wifi which comes out to roughly $50/$40 per month per person, respectively.
The apartment is located near two parks, several grocery stores, the famous Brooklyn Bagels, a myriad of fabulous Italian and Greek restaurants, and a killer yoga studio near the train if that's your thing. Laundromat is around the corner. The area is pretty quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I (Tracy) work a lot and come home primarily to hibernate in my room, though I do occasionally hang in the living room, so if you come home and I'm there or visa versa, we might have to, like, interact. Which I'm totally cool with. Casey also mostly chills in her room when she's home.
The application fee is $150. There is a one-month security deposit due upon signing the lease.
