Hi, I'm a Floridian who ended up liking cold weather and moved to NYC two and a half years ago for grad school! Since graduating I've been focusing on advancing my career. I just moved to my Astoria apartment 4 months ago with barely any furniture and plan on starting new when my roommates (a couple) move out! Plenty of space for you to make the place yours too! At home I am clean, quiet, and spend most of my time in my room. I take care of my friendly cat named Tobey who will probably be your friend as well. I'm about to be working almost every night. I prefer to keep the kitchen and bathroom clean and having a calm household. I rarely have visitors as I tend to go out to socialize at bars or concerts. I work as a photo editor and a bartender at a hotel. On a typical evening I'm relaxing while listening to music, possibly smoking a joint, after cooking dinner. Friendly, reliable, creative, resourceful, and professional–I'd like a roommate with the same values! I'm a great communicator, very considerate, and keep the spaces we will share organized and clean. I wouldn't mind a friendly roommate to do things together like sharing meals or going out for a drink but I also enjoy privacy and alone time. Let's make something happen!

This apartment has so much space that makes it a great value! Second story (no upstairs neighbors!!) sits above the entrance to a private quiet business owned by the landlord. Inside this safe and clean apartment you get a large, light filled (queen sized!) carpeted bedroom and an adjacent office. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house with a large kitchen and living room in between allowing for maximum privacy.
6 month commitment please, then month-to-month with 1 month notice. Security deposit required. Flexible move in December 15 - January 1st!!
5 minute walk to the Astoria Blvd N/W subway station. The subway is running express due to construction thus making a quick 20 min trip to Midtown. Apartment is located on Astoria Blvd which is bustling with people, bus stops, and cars–hello city life!
Our neighbors are a laundromat, wine shop, tax company, aerobic studio, and deli. ~10 minute walk to C-Mart, Key Foods, and Trade Fair Foods. Great neighborhood with everything you need. Great restaurants, bars, shops in walking distance. Part of the apartment is above a workout studio, music can be heard in the morning and evening. If you work 9-5 the music shouldn't be a issue! But if you work a night job, the music might be disturbing unless you're a heavy sleeper! So many great perks to this spacious, conveniently located apartment, just looking for a great roommate to help make the place ours! :)
