* I'm finishing my PhD at the University of Virginia remotely because I adore New York. I'm doing some consulting on the side, which allows me to work remotely while I'm finishing. My move-in date is flexible and I am looking for a room by August 31st.
* I like to socialize but I'm pretty good at reading when people don't want to be talked to if that's more your speed. I live with roommates currently and I'm very conscientious about cooking smells, noise, cleanliness in common areas, sharing chores, etc. I'm big on communication, perhaps an over-sharer, always open to discussing roommate issues if they arise.
* I'm a huge foodie and my favorite thing to do is eat at restaurants and I cook (pretty well, I think). My old roommates and I would often host dinner parties; my favorite thing to do is to have a glass of wine and talk to interesting people.
