It's a small room in a colorful building. 6'x12', with high ceilings. There's a Manhattan skyline view from the kitchen window, at least unless developers block it with high rises farther east. There's a garage style heater that doubles as an industrial strength hair dryer while you make coffee at the sink. There's a bed and mattress (devoid of bedbugs) and cheap IKEA dresser that you can use or toss if you have your own and plan to stay a while. One wall is tangerine orange, and you're also welcome to paint that or leave it be.
Sadly, the landlords have a no pets policy. I wouldn't tell on your hamster as long as she doesn't throw loud parties, but we probably can't stealthily keep a dog or cat. I am auntie to a great boxer-mix, who visits once a week or so.
