I returned to NY in 2017 from my home state of Virginia, having spent 6 years in the city for my undergrad (Parsons) and work. I've been working at the Midtown offices of The RealReal since coming back. I’m a non-smoker and a social drinker (i.e. brunch, happy hour, and the occasional wine from Trader Joe’s - in the spirit of Alicia Florrick but with cheaper wine, ha). I’m on the more organized end of the scale, derive satisfaction from a well-made bed and folded laundry (I’ve been known to visit friends’ houses and wash THEIR dishes unprompted, ha). While I’m no friend to stray hairs in the sink, I’m a lover of all animals, even the ones to whom I’m allergic! Also, I take night showers, if morning bathroom congestion is an issue.
I try to make wherever I am more than just a place to stay; I like living in a home. I’m willing to contribute to the well-being/maintenance of the entire household, in addition to the bills. I love sharing a meal and spending time with my flatmates, while also being respectful of boundaries and others’ belongings (as I would expect myself). I'm very much so a communicator, and value transparency in housing situations.
Overall, I'm a fairly decent conversationalist and can throw down some good hashtag. Pretty relaxed and easy-going, let's toast to living moderately well together here on the island! Also I do get amazing Airbnb reviews, not to brag and all, ha.
