Lovely room in ASTORIA

Hi guys

We have a room for rent in our three bedroom house. The room is unfurnished but the apartment has everything you would need. It is a really good size and has a decent closet built in. The heating works well and you have access to the outside courtyard. The room is available immediately so please give me a shout so we can arrange to show you round.

A bit about us:

I (Nick) am from South Africa and work in the medical device sector and Brian is gay, and a college professor. We have been housemates for 2 years and get on really well due to the fact that we respect each others space and try to make things as chilled and stress free as possible.

About the area:

There's a pub on the corner where we sometimes have a drink or a meal. Multiple laundry places nearby. I often don't need to go to the city on the weekends because Astoria has so many options - 30th avenue has so many choices for eating out or having drinks, as well as further up on Ditmars Ave.

Transport:
The M/R trains are 8min walk and about 25min to the city or alternatively, you can walk down 30th avenue and take the N/W trains.

bills/utilities:

Internet and electric come to about $65 a month each. no issues with wifi speeds. (no cable.)

pets:

we have a cat who is pretty well house trained and doesnt jump up on the counters.
