Private room in Newport condo (Mandalay on the Hudson) with a beautiful view of the Hudson river available 1/1! Flexible with move-in date.

Unfurnished private room (with your own door/lock) has a new built-in AC/heater unit, carpeted floor for insulation, spacious walk-in closet, and 4 electrical wall outlets. Kitchen has an electric stove for cooking. We have an in-unit washer/dryer (a rare find!). Your electronic key will provide you free 24/7 access to the building's mailroom, gym, pool, clubroom, and private conference room with unlimited TV/WiFi.

5-min walk to the Exchange Place PATH station, 7-min to the Newport PATH station, 10-min to the Grove Street PATH, and for weekend ferry service, the Harborside ferry terminal is right downstairs! This location is perfect for young working professionals or students commuting within downtown JC or to Manhattan. Right by the Newport Mall (Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc) and supermarkets (ShopRite, Target, Morton Williams). Building is safe with a private doorman in the lobby at all hours. Also kept clean: No pest issues, all hallways are vacuumed daily, elevator floors cleaned daily, and unit windows are washed 3x/year. Management is extremely responsive in case there are maintenance issues (which fortunately there have not been any).

Gas + Electric ranges from $30-60 per person (~$50 in the summer as we're right by the river!). Internet (unlimited data) share is $24/month (just got an awesome Comcast Xfinity promo!). You will be sharing the bathroom with an Indian female in healthcare (she occupies the living room). Monthly utilities are evenly split between the 2 of you.

Room is on a flexible month-to-month lease, so there is no min/max length of stay (just standard 30-day notice needed to move out). Only $1500 security deposit and photo ID required to e-sign the lease. No additional fees (as this is a condo unit it is not subject to rent increases, and our super-fair landlord has maintained the same rent for 3+ years).

Females preferred (and sorry, no pets!).
