Seeking: Roommate to Fill 1 Bedroom (of 3) in a Spacious, Sunny Williamsburg Duplex Apartment ($2100/month) - 1 YR Lease - Nov. 1st Move-In
I & N are looking for someone to fill the 3rd bedroom in our amazing duplex apartment in Williamsburg. The apartment is conveniently located just steps away from the Bedford L stop on North 7th and Driggs in a recently completed modern building. The apartment includes - 4 balconies + private roof deck area outfitted with outdoor couches, lounge furniture, a daybed, a hammock, a tasteful water feature, outdoor speakers, a dining table overlooking Williamsburg and a grass lounge/chill rooftop area that doubles as a dancefloor. Other amenities include: direct-to-apartment loft-style elevator access, in-unit washer / dryer and brand new appliances & fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen. The apartment also has a cozy reading nook for lounging & working, a bar area w/ NYC views that connects to the private roof area and a fully furnished, tastefully decorated living area. Rent is $2100 + utilities. We are targeting a November 1st move-in but would be flexible for the right person.
- Direct-to-apartment loft-style elevator access
- In-unit washer / dryer
- Brand new appliances & fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen
- A cozy reading nook and bar area w/ NYC views that connects to the private roof area
- A fully furnished, tastefully decorated living area (ABC Home furniture // curated selection of weird/interesting coffee table books to intimidate guests // plant collection)
- Four balconies + private roof deck area outfitted with outdoor lounge furniture, a hammock, a tasteful water feature, and a dining table overlooking Williamsburg. It would be hard (if not impossible) to find more outdoor space at this price in the city.
- Proximity to pretty much everything you could ever want in Williamsburg, from the Whole Foods/Sweetgreen/Equinox/Apple Store monstrosity (#equinoxmadeusdoit?) to great local restaurants, coffee shops, music venues, delis, boutiques, etc.
LISTING DETAILS:
You'd be paying $2100 a month to rent one of the three bedrooms in our apartment. The two remaining bedrooms are occupied by 2 guys their mid-late 20s. Your room has its own private terrace and shares a full bath with 1 of the guy's rooms (you have your own private entrance), but there is also a half bath (no shower) just outside so you will have the option to use both at your convenience. Utilities are split 3 ways.
Move in date is November 1st. It's a one year lease. Security deposit is one month's rent.
ABOUT US / YOU:
We're two professional guys (call us N & I) who are close friends.
N is a Vanderbilt grad that works in Finance. He is originally from Chicago, but he has lived in New York for 5 years. He enjoys coffee table books, taking care of his plants, and the occasional rooftop party.
I is a French/Tunisian who works in Advertising. He recently moved to Brooklyn from the South of France. He enjoys African Jazz records (vinyl of course), spending too much time on his hair and the occasional afternoon tennis match.
N & I have 8-6 jobs in Manhattan and also travel relatively often for work.
We are looking for a professional guy or girl in their Mid/Late-20's with a work hard/play hard/chill harder mentality. We appreciate keeping a structured, relaxed and quiet environment on weeknights and are all very serious about our jobs, but our apartment is fairly social on weekends. We like to have our friends over for tanning / rooftop hangs in summer, grilling, fam dinners, GOT nights (on the outdoor projector),, pregames and the like. The party often comes back to our place, but we're conscious of each person's schedule and needs and can respect your decision to want to keep the apartment quiet on a particular weekend. It's also big enough that even when we do have people over, there are spaces to retreat to. We are sticklers about keeping the space clean but it's because our apartment is our sanctuary. 420 Friendly(ish). HBO-Binge Friendly. Joe's Pizza Friendly.

We think Noel’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…
