What's up! I'm Nathan. I'm a person living in the Bushwick/Ridgewood area of Brooklyn. I'm presently working in the area as a freelance violinist and strings instructor. I'm seeking two new roommates to sign a new lease on a 3-bedroom apartment.

I am originally from Philadelphia and have been living in New York since 2012, when I started studying at The New School. Most of my time is spent playing, recording, and teaching music. I play violin and viola in a range of small ensembles and I participate in studio recording sessions across the city. I instruct once a week at an after school program for children from immigrant families in Connecticut, and teach a small number of private students in the NYC area.

Considerateness is a really important quality that I seek in potential roommates. It's important that my living partner has pre-established cleaning habits, and is reasonable about other living and space issues like noise, maintenance, and financial organization. On the other hand, it's important that my roommate has good communication skills: I am super personable and open to feedback and I hope that you are too! I am gay and would only consider living with roommates who are also LGBTQ+, queer/trans, or straight allies.
