Traci B - $1,200/month

I moved to New York in June 2015 and have been living with a friend-of-a-friend since then in Harlem. All is going well, but I've always wanted to live in Brooklyn, so looking to find an open room with a down-to-earth, creative and self-aware individual.

I work a Monday-Friday job (not 9-5... more like 8-7), working in public relations, so I'm pretty low key during the week days. On the weekends, I love to sleep in, watch movie marathons and cook. I LOVE cooking - it's my creative outlet and I enjoy cooking for roommates and groups of friends whenever possible.

I like to keep the place pretty clean (especially kitchen/bathroom), but I am not a super neat freak. That said, I keep my personal belongings out of common areas for the most part. I'm down to have a cleaning rotation schedule or just clean as we go... no preference.

I have my own TV so usually watch it in my room, but open to setting it up in the living room if you don't already own a TV.

Since I just moved here, I'm still trying to "find my way" and make new friends. But I've never been the type to always have people over, so you won't have to worry about "extras" staying around. A friend or two will come in town every few months or so, and I have a boyfriend from back home who flies up every now and then as well.

I usually pay rent on the 1st through Venmo, but can use whatever method is best.

I'm fun, love wine nights and like to go out on the weekends. Looking for a roommate who is down to go out together, but we don't have to be best friends, either. I'm pretty honest and to-the-point in all my engagements; can't play the passive aggressive stuff.
