Astoria Room For Rent (Great Location)

LOCATION: Room available in August in our 1st floor building apartment walk-up, 2 blocks from the Astoria Blvd subway and M60 bus. Considered one of the best locations in Astoria, between Ditmars Blvd and 30th avenue. You are walking distance to all the great shops and food that Astoria has to offer (and trust us there are plenty). You are 3 mins from the Bohemian Beer Garden (one of Astoria's best places for outdoor drinks, food and live music), Starbucks (5 mins), New York Coffee Bagel (5 mins), Dunkin (5 mins), BEZ Greek Grill (3 mins), Basil Pizza (3 mins), 24 hour laundry and Othello's for groceries (down the street), Keyfoods and Sal's Organic groceries (10 mins) and gyms all nearby. Not to mention two new gelato shops just opened nearby. Astoria is one of the up and coming towns in NYC and for the price you really can't beat this.

ROOM: Your room currently has a queen size bed and mattress (will stay if you choose), 4 large beautiful windows and a large drawer unit. Our old roommate lived in this room for 2 years and loved it. It's conveniently located down the apartment so it's the furthest from the kitchen, which gives you ideal privacy, but connected to the living room. The living room is huge and not yet fully furnished (working on that as we speak). The kitchen in this apartment is probably the best part as it has a new stove and refrigerator (less than a year old) and more than enough room to get your iron chef on. Could also host 6 dinner guests.

ROOMMATES: Current roommates are Frank and Cian, both working professionals in tech who are rarely home, do not use a car, and try to be respectful of their roommate's space and not loud (but not against someone who can be a bit loud). They occasionally grab a drink at the local bar and/or venture into the city. Guests are welcome.

RENT: Rent is $1,050 per month which includes all *Utilities* (fastest Spectrum wifi connection/cable), access to Youtube TV, all ConEd related bills covered. The deposit is $950 and is obviously returned upon departure. Our lease re-starts in September so this is a good time to get in. Frank's father owns a food company so we tend to have lots of pasta, espresso and olive oil :)

LOOKING FOR: Preferably would like a roommate who has a stable job/income, clean, and cool.
