My name is Jaclyn and my sister and I are looking to rent out a room in our house. We are in our mid-late 20s. We've lived here for 4 years and love the area. I am currently working on my masters in Speech and Language Pathology. I also work on the side for an airline (one of the good ones!). My hours can be spread out all over. Currently, I work early morning and go to school at night. I tend to be home for a few hours in the middle of the day. I also work weekends. My sister is an accountant and works the typical 8-5pm Mon-Fri.We are friendly, respectful, and fun. We like to go to the beach as well as explore downtown. We enjoy sports and outdoor activities. We have one cat who lives in the house. He doesn't get along well with other animals so we are looking for someone who does not have pets. We are looking to fill one of our four bedrooms. There are currently 4 of us living here, three girls and one boy.

The Room:
We have one rooms for rent with your own bathroom.
Room will be unfurnished.
Room is 120 sq. ft.
Bathroom accessed from hallway (this will be your own private bathroom)

The House:
The house has recently been remodeled and has new windows, floors, kitchen, etc. The house is a cute 1920s Spanish style house in an up and coming neighborhood. The shared living spaces are furnished (kitchen, living, dining room, backyard). There is central A/C and heating, as well as laundry in the house. Large backyard and fire pit.
Location and Other Details:
All utilities are evenly split by the number of roommates we have (except for water which is included in rent). Utilities (gas, electric, internet) usually cost between $30-60 depending on the A/C usage.
Walking distance from Farmdale stop on the Expo Line (which runs between DTLA and Santa Monica). 10 minute drive to downtown Culver City.
No Pets! We already have a cat, and he doesn't get along well with other animals so no pets please.
Lease is month to month and we require a $20 credit check with the submission of an application.
