Hello! I am looking for a roommate who would like to share a 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom apartment with me. This apartment is in Mosaic District in Merrifield VA, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in DMV. It is minutes away from the Beltway, Leesburg Pike, Tyson's corner, Reston Town Center, etc. The apartment complex is Vantage Mosaic, you can check their website. http://www.vantagemosaic.com/

IMPORTANT: The rent is split equally between us, but you will have the bedroom with the private bathroom.

IMPORTANT: I have a cat and won't accept another pet, you have to love cats and not mind living with a cat.

The cozy home has an open floor plan, high ceilings, and hardwood floors. The bedrooms are split on either side of the living space with their own bathrooms, providing plenty of privacy. The living room is furnished and your bedroom is unfurnished, with a private bathroom and balcony.

In addition, the apartment is around a 10 minutes walking distance to the Merrifield Metro Station. The apartment has free shuttle service to the Metro in rush hours on weekdays. If you have a car, parking is additional $100 a month. The two biggest Asian grocery stores (Great Wall and H-Mart) are 3 minutes away by walking. Mom's Organic Market, Target, Angelika Cinema, restaurants and retail stores are all in the district, you just get out of the apartment and walk to all of them.

This apartment has its bedrooms and living room facing the courtyard, so it's going to be a quite unit. This apartment is available on May 2 and your move-in date is flexible, you just have to pay from May 2. The lease term is 12 months and you have to commit to the lease, one month deposit is required (payable to me). You will have your credit/income/background all checked before you are approved by the apartment management. Utilities (electricity, gas, internet, trash, water) will be split equally between us. Parking is not included, it's an additional $100 per month.

IMPORTANT: I prefer someone who has no living room furniture, I have all the living room furniture arranged and can't fit in any more pieces. If you need, we can share bookcases. You can use all my tools in the kitchen as long as you clean them after use.

-Cat mom, I've had her for 5 years and she's a sweet cat who occasionally bites and scratches
-I have a lot of plants that I've kept for years, I water them regularly, they give the room a lively feeling and produce oxygen

ROOMMATE CRITERIA
- Working professional with stable income
-Responsible, clean, quiet, respectful
-No pets, drugs or smoking, no living room furniture
-Visitors are okay, but no long-term stay
**Must be able to consent to background check, credit check, and provide employment proof **
**Must be able to provide a security deposit of $1100 to me**
**Must be willing to sign lease, pay amenity fee of $200, application fee of $50**
**The utility is about $150 per month, internet is $60 a month, trash is $10, Electricity and Gas about $80 a month.

IMPORTANT: I'm currently living in a one-bedroom apartment in the same apartment complex, will move to the new 2 bedroom apartment on May 2. You want to come over to check the environment, we can schedule a time to do it. But the actual apartment is not available to view, you can get an idea if you see my apartment and the floor plan of the two-bedroom apartment.
