Unit: The place is only one year old (we were the first tenets) and has all of the amenities that you need--washer/dryer in the unit, dishwasher, large modern bathroom and individual Heat and A/C units in every room. We are located on the 4th (and top) floor and have a small balcony off of the living room. The unit itself is furnished, but we are open to additions and decorations. Our favorite aspect of the apartment is the floor to ceiling windows and balcony that allow for lots of natural light. It also faces Manhattan so you can watch the sun set over the city every night!

Room: Room is largest in apartment (~8x12) and has a beautiful large window that can open. There is no closet (because they used the space for the washer and dryer) so this roommate can use the hallway closet for their items (Picture shown). The current roommate has a queen bed and it fits perfectly fine with a large dresser and room for additional furniture items. [Picture shown of bare room is of a different unit on move in, but have added additional pictures of the room as is. Note: room will not come furnished]

Building amenities: The building has a key code entry and 4 floors of units (8 total). We have an amazing shared roof with the building which units in the building. The rest of the building tenets are in their 20’s and quiet.

About us: We are two sisters (26 and 23) and we both work in the advertising industry,one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn. We work full time and are gone from about 7-7 weekdays depending on schedules. We also have two small dogs to keep you company--2 miniature schnauzers who are brother and sister and 7.5 years old. They are hypoallergenic, don't shed, are well trained and don't have accidents or get into anything, but will be very excited to greet you when you get home! We mostly stay in during the week but explore Brooklyn on the weekends. We love cooking, dancing and jamming out to records in the apartment.

About the area: Bushwick is an awesome area to live because there is SO much to do around us. There are new restaurants popping up every day and everything is within a 15 minute walk of the apartment. The street we live on is mostly families and there are several new buildings popping up so the community is very diverse. We are a 6 minute walk to the JMZ trains at Kosciuszko and 10-15 minute walk to the DeKalb L train. It takes only 15-20 minutes to get into Manhattan from our apartment.

Details: The leasing agency needs the following to move in: An application (with $75 fee), credit check, proof of employment, pay stub and first month’s rent and deposit of $1133. We can help you with the details once you see the place. New 12-month lease begins November 1st, but move in dates may be able to be negotiated.
