Spacious UWS apartment seeking roommate!!

Easygoing guys in their mid 20's and 30's looking for a short or long-term roommate for a mid-May move-in (no pets please or couples).

The apartment is a 1600 sq ft converted 3BR, 2 bath at 87th and Central Park West on the 2nd floor (1 flight of stairs) and takes up the entire 2nd floor of the brownstone. It's right around the corner from the B/C train, down the block from the 1 train, and mere feet from Central Park.

Bedroom is converted from a 2nd living room and has a 12 foot ceiling and a 9 foot tall L-shaped temporary wall (making the room L shaped as well and wall doesn't reach ceiling), floor to ceiling mirrors on one entire side, a beautiful wooden/marble fireplace, ceiling fan, and air-conditioning. The lengths of the L-shaped room are 17' on the longer side x 11' on shorter side, which is diagonal. The width of the longer part and shorter part are each 6.5'. Sorry if that's confusing, hopefully you'll be able to tell what I'm talking about by the pics but just ask me if you have any questions. Despite the walls not reaching the ceiling, I've never had complaints about sound since we live on a quiet street and we're both very quiet at night.

The kitchen is a good size and is highly functional with dishwasher, granite counters, a built-in microwave, and plenty of cabinet space. The living room is a massive 17' x 19' with 12 foot ceilings so it's perfect for the occasional get together. There's also pretty great storage space in the common area. I bought a projector which transforms the living room into a movie theatre (it's glorious) and you're welcome to use it. Don't worry, I always use headphones to keep the volume down. :) We have a 48" smart TV and a Poland Spring water cooler. Utilities usually run about $100 on average. I use Airbnb occasionally when I'm away but will always give you advanced notice and you're welcome to use it as well. Requesting one month deposit.

The room is furnished with a queen sized bed frame, desk, armoire, and clothing rack. If you'd prefer unfurnished, we can clear out the room for your furniture. Please email with some info about yourself and let us know when you're free to come by.
