Tanu - $1,000/month

Hi! I landed my dream job at a publishing house downtown in July so I'm looking for an easy commute-- I'd ideally like to find a room in Manhattan (at or below 125th Street) near the 4/5 or the A. I'm subletting until the end of October and will probably want to find an apartment for at least a year.

I like to read for fun so that probably tells you all you need to know about me :P On top of my 9-5, I occasionally tutor on the weekends/weekday evenings and travel about once a month, so I'm not home a ton. When I'm home, I like to bake cookies (chocolate chip peanut butter, in particular), drink tea, and tell really bad dad jokes.

I'm a huge fan of communication, and I always want to be respectful. I'd like to live in an apartment where everyone feels like they can relax and be comfortable.
