Hello! My current roommate and I are looking for a third person to take over an extra bedroom in our apartment. The move-in date is flexible, so you can move-in anytime between 8/1/2018-9/4/2018. You have the option to move into the room furnished or empty. The available room is the shown in the photo with the big window and yellow chair on the right side. It is a railroad apartment, where the front door opens to the first bedroom, which then leads to the shared spaces and other two bedrooms.
We are both graduate students at NYU in our early twenties. Looking for a friendly roommate to share this space with us.

This is an unbeatable price for the location, given its proximity to the East Village and Union Square!
The room is very large, with tons of natural light. The room currently has and can be furnished upon moving in, with a full-size bed & mattress, dresser, armchair, full length mirror, lamp, etc. All of the furniture was purchased brand new in September of 2017. The apartment is right across the street from the FDR walkway, and has a perfect view overlooking the East River. Laundry is in the building, as well as bike storage.
My current roommate and I are graduate students at NYU in our early 20's. We are both friendly, easy going, and very clean. (We hope that you are too!) The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need in terms of cooking utensils. We live in a 2 Br flex, which means one of the roommates essentially lives in the traditional "living room" area. It's common in New York and hasn't been a problem for us at all.
Stuytown is a beautiful complex with security monitoring the premises and the buildings 24/7. It’s a pet-friendly community, and there is a café, a library, and beautiful green space within the complex. It’s especially beautiful and green in the summertime! Union Square and everything that it has to offer (Trader Joe’s, Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods, etc.) is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the 1st Ave L train stops right outside of Stuytown.
We are flexible in terms of move-in date, the room will be available beginning August 1st 2018, and you can move in anytime between August 1st and September 4th, 2018.
