I have just moved to New York from the U.K. (Manchester, no doubt you will be familiar with Manchester United and Manchester City football clubs) on a two year transfer with my company.

I am an accountant / business consultant (please don’t be put off, I have never been described as boring) working in Midtown and likely travelling to other parts of the US with work.

I have a couple of weeks in a temporary apartment until I find myself a more permanent place to live, with the aim to moving in somewhere mid-end October.

If I were to describe my personality and lifestyle in 5 words it would be: busy, energetic, ambitious, adventurous but also laid back.

The key things I am looking for in an apartment and roommate/s is: convenient location - in terms of work commute and nearby ammenites, preferably a non shared bathroom, no pets, laid back roommates in their 20’s / 30’s.
