Hi!
My roommate Liz and I are moving from our current apartment in Downtown Brooklyn to an awesome new place in East Williamsburg on December 15th. We've signed the lease already but are looking for one awesome person to take the extra room.
The apartment has a total of 3 large bedrooms, plus a small one our friend Erika is going to take. It is distributed onto 2 floors. The ground level has the two regular sized rooms plus the small one, a bathroom, kitchen, large dining room and entry to the private backyard! There is a staircase that leads to the basement, where there is a giant living room space, washer & dryer, bathroom and the largest room. Though in the basement, the room actually has windows and direct access to the backyard (how? I'm not sure tbh, but it's true!).
About us:
I've been living in NYC for about 2 years. I came to start a career in event management and currently work in midtown. I love to cook -and eat!- and am looking forward to having dinner parties in our amazing new place! I also like to go out for drinks, dinner or dancing, or of course, my favorite NY thing: brunch! Most nights, however, I like to just hang out and watch a movie, tv or read.
Liz has been in NY a couple years longer than I. she manages the insurance at a construction company. She's a huge fan of live music (her faves being Phish and the Grateful Dead) and is an all around love-child-like great human being!
Erika just moved to NY about a year ago, inspired by her love of Broadway (ask her anything, she knows!). She works as a nanny in Downtown and has been a vegetarian since she can remember.
About you:
Ideally you're in your mid-to-late 20s or early 30s, have a stable job (we don't really care if it's a 9-5 or not), and are looking for something more than just a room. You're clean without being too neurotic about it. Don't mind drinking on a Tuesday (don't worry, we're not raging alcoholics, but a glass of wine here or there never hurt anyone). We all get along very well, and we want to keep it that way, so we're looking for someone who's not too crazy or "high maintenance".
If this sounds like you, hit us up!
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,400 |
| Move in Date | Dec 2017 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 27 |

We think Alina would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
