I'm a rookie expat, looking to make a new home in New York for the next few years, after securing a position with the Consulate-General of Australia.

My academic background is in Social Science and International Relations, but most of my work back home (Melbourne) has been in the planning and delivery of major public events!

My partner Tim, has also packed up life in Australia to join me, and is a seasoned traveller with a professional background in alternative dispute resolution, mediation and corporate investigations.

We enjoy being outside as much as possible - runs, hikes, getaways and the like, so as much as we are both very house proud, and love a homey space, we are often out and about! We are both easy going, great communicators, friendly, clean and respectable of others' space, as we have both lived in shared accommodation many times before!

We enjoy contributing to a friendly household (Tim is a mad cook!), but also happy to keep to ourselves if that's what suits!
