I’m a non-binary professional comic book editor (they/them pronouns only) who loves reading, science fiction, cooking, and cats. I work full-time for a publishing company, so my income is steady and I’m not working freelance. Most of the time I’m in the office, but I might be working from home sporadically during the year.
I’m tidy but not a neat freak, so a little clutter won’t bother me so long as there’s nothing gross happening in the sink or the bathroom. I’ve seen Sharknado more than a dozen times now and that may or may not be reflected in my home decorating. I’m happy to share whatever so long as there’s mutual respect for the place!

I’m in Mid-Wilshire, walking distance from major bus stops, three pharmacies, and two grocery stores. Apartment is rent controlled and pet friendly and the complex covers the water bill. I’m renting out the master bedroom and it comes with a covered (one car garage shed) parking space included. The room is private but we’d be sharing a bathroom (with shower and bathtub) since it’s a 1.5 bath apartment. There’s no A/C but temperature is well controlled with shade, insulation, and cross breeze. There’s a complex-dedicated coin-operated washer/dryer in a shed out back and a laundromat down the street if you prefer that. The apartment is a REALLY nice two story place (will send pics on request), and is one of 12 units ringing around a small courtyard full of greenery.
Rent is $1550/month for the larger room and parking space + utilities which run low. I have a cat and if you’re bringing a pet I’d want to introduce them first to be safe about it. I would call myself tidy but not a neat-freak, the apartment is well-maintained and I (and hopefully the landlord) plan to keep it that way, but I don’t care if things get a bit cluttered so long as it’s easy to tidy up and nothing gross is happening in the sink or bathroom. I have the shared spaces furnished but the open room would be unfurnished. There is a LOT of storage space and that room is the size of a living room in most houses.
