I'm a professional woman, IT (information technology, computer systems architect) consultant, with a 1+ year working assignment in New York City, financial district. I'm quiet by nature, very work focused during the week, personable, cheerful, and athletic (so prefer to have a gym in the apartment building). The NYC apartment would be a "work apartment" for me, i.e. primarily used during the work week. My home is at the Jersey shore so an apartment in NYC is a work necessity. I will likely spend most weekends home in NJ, though I am looking forward to exploring New York and all that it has to offer in the coming 1+ years of this work gig. I love the theater, dance, and the arts -- a part of me I don't get to indulge as much as I'd like, immersed as I usually am in the IT world -- so I'm especially hopeful of finding a living situation in the heart of Manhattan.

I am very clean and orderly in my housekeeping habits, especially so in shared spaces. I don't have any pets but I do love animals and would welcome sharing a place with someone who does have a dog or cat.
