Hello! I'm currently apartment hunting, prefer around Astoria/LIC/Sunnyside, but open to other neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens! looking for a 2 bedroom apartment to share with a roommate for 1 October. The available room could be furnished with at least a bed, side table, and dresser, if you needed. The rest of the apartment could also be fully furnished and I would love to set up in a "bohemian minimalist" decor. I'm not a fan of clutter and having a million things in the common spaces, I’d like to set up a creative, clean look.

I'm looking for a roommate who is tidy and willing to contribute to keeping the common spaces clean (aka dust/vacuum) every other week.

About me: I'm a 31 y/o female mental health counselor and yoga instructor having recently returned to the US after 4.5 years of humanitarian work abroad. I'm open to anyone -- LGBTQNC, student or professional, any ethnicity/race, etc as long as you are also accepting and fairly laid back. I'm 420 friendly and like to drink socially, but typically during the week I chill at home/go to bed at a reasonable hour. I do like going out-- to try new restaurants, museums, live music or DJs, movies, social justice events, etc. I wouldn't "bring the party home" too often and even if I did, it wouldn't be more than a few people.

At the moment, I'm starting to look at apartments in the $2000 - $2600 range. If you're interested, we could even go together to look, and find an apartment that we both love.

Since most apartment building applications require this, priority given to those who are:
-willing to co-sign the lease
-able to pay half the broker fee, if applicable (though I'm hoping to find a no fee apartment!)
-salary of at least 40-50k OR guarantor
-decent credit history.

And sorry, no pets! I'm allergic to cats and dogs :(
