Hi, I'm looking for a roommate to move and sign a 1 year lease. Move-in date is flexible between 9/15-10/1. Your share of the rent would be $1200 a month plus a one-time deposit of $1250 that will be returned when you move out by the management.
ABOUT THE APT: Renovated 2 bed room apt with 1 bathroom, kitchen and living area. Dishwasher in the kitchen. Walk-up building. No pets allowed a per management. Sunny room with 2 windows overlooking the street, has a closet plus you will get a second closet in the hallway. Room is 9x13 (medium sized by NYC standards), can comfortably fit a full-sized bed, small desk, dresser, night stand. Apt has plenty of storage. Common spaces will be fully/partially furnished. Bedroom can be unfurnished or partially furnished with desk, mattress, air-conditioner, etc.
AREA: Laundry down the block. Near the G train, A/C trains 15minute walk, and multiple bus lines. Park and NYC public pool nearby. Restaurants and bars are an avenue away in either direction.
ABOUT ME: female, late 20s, working professional, responsible, neat, quiet (though I do like to turn up the music sometimes, but let me know if I'm being too noisy). I've been living here for 3 years w/ my current roommate who is moving. I really value consideration, communication and cleanliness in a shared space.
ABOUT YOU: be responsible, clean, working professional or student. No smokers or drug users. Ideally you keep busy outside the apartment and have guests over no more than occasionally. Looking for someone who is respectful of the shared space, willing to communicate when issues arise and we are able to get along with each other.
