Hi!
I'm looking for a roommate in a 2 bedroom apartment. The rent is $1700 a month for a room with a shared bathroom. The bedroom is large enough to fit a full bed, desk and dresser. The building has a doorman, elevator and laundry in the building. The kitchen comes with modern appliances (most notably a dishwasher) and the living room is furnished (although I intend to buy some more furniture and redecorate in November).
The apartment is conveniently located close to Central Park and Columbus Circle, so it's near many subway lines (~6 minute walk to A/C/B/D/1, ~10 minute walk to N/Q/R/W, ~10 minute walk to E). It's also over on 9th avenue, which means it's not in a touristy area and it's close to a lot of cute bars and restaurants in Hell's Kitchen!
