Moving to NYC from Michigan in late September to start a career in public health research. During the work week I'm pretty focused on work and exercising. But I do love happy hours and trying new classes, and experiencing new things. Would love to have a roommate who is open to socializing, being friends, or doing some things together. I'm new to the city, so getting along well with a roommate is important to me.

I will respect common areas and keep them clean. Im not impeccably clean but I do like to keep shared spaces tidy, particularly the bathroom and kitchen. I usually like to do a deeper clean of those areas once a week. My personal room is a different story :).

I don't party often, maybe once a year if I have the urge. But I do go out to dinner or drinks on the weekend - usually home by midnight and very respectful during quiet hours. I like to cook and host small dinners every once in a while. Would love a roommate who would be into having a small communal dinner once a month or something.
