Vera B - $1,500/month

Hi everyone!

My name is Vera and I'm from Amsterdam. From the beginning of August until half January I'm gonna be doing the Chef's Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in Manhattan. So I'm looking for a room for about 5 months, ideally in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

A little bit about me; I've studied Medicine in Amsterdam for three years and got my bachelor degree. After that I travelled for 10 months and discovered (how very cliché) that I wanted to do something else than Medicine. I thought about it a lot and found out about the Natural Gourmet Insitute. I've always loved cooking (and also really like making tasty and healthy meals for others! ;)) and I'm interested in health and nutrition so it was the perfect fit for me. I'm hoping to some day open my own little vegan restaurant or lunch room.

I'm easy to live with, friendly, organized and optimistic. I'm responsible and looking forward to living in New York City for a couple of months and learning how to cook!
