My roommate and I are looking for a mid-twenties to mid-thirties female roommate to join a 12-month lease and fill an open room in our lovely 3-bdrm Williamsburg apartment, available 8/1/18.
Apartment details: We are the first tenants to inhabit our brand knew 3-brdm, 2-floor apartment. The available room is on the first level of the apartment. Its a small to medium sized room that will fit a full bed, desk, and end table. The room has tall ceilings and huge window that provides lots of natural light and would share the upstairs bathroom with one other person. Each room also has a wall-mounted dual AC/Heating unit that is a godsend. Easy to use and super effective. The kitchen is decent sized for the apartment, with all new appliances. We have cheap laundry (basically) in unit, as the laundry room is situated directly outside our unit. The apartment decor is unique mid-century modern featuring bright orange cupboards, that we LOVE. We have a wonderful management company that is incredibly responsive and available. My roommate and I love this apartment for its location in the best neighborhood in the city (Williamsburg) and its proximity to Manhattan (10 mins to Union Square). **more photos available upon request!**
Location: 2.5 blocks / 5 mins off the Graham L-train stop in the heart Williamsburg. The Lorimer G-train stop is a 12-min walk.
Price: $1250 / month + $1250 security deposit, utilities usually run about $40 / mo.
Availability: 12-month lease, starting 8/1/18. Move in date may be flexible.
Roommates: Meg (late 20's) works in EdTech generally 9:00am - 6:00pm. Enjoys running, trashy TV, college sports, dog-watching in Central Park, and the Office re-runs. Hannah (mid 20's) works in the NYC dance scene at Lincoln Center generally 7:30am - 6:00pm. Enjoys going to the ballet, watching the NBA and the Office, working in coffee shops, and scouring NYC for the perfect donut. We generally keep to ourselves on the week nights, cook dinner at home, and enjoy all our neighborhood has to offer on the weekend. We're looking for a fun, financially stable, young professional (preferably female) who will keep the apartment clean, respect the other roommates, and be open to hanging out on the occasional roommate night in or Bachelor viewing party.
