I work Wednesday through Sunday so you'll have weekends to yourself. I'm working on my masters part-time at the Graduate Center, CUNY. When school is in session I'm often at the library for most of Monday and Tuesday and will spend a few hours there after work also. I love to cook, I find that it relieves stress. I live in the Lower East Side and would like to stay south of 14th street (or thereabouts). I read mostly non-fiction at the moment, could be a symptom of the Master's degree? I do like to treat myself to morning weekday movies at cheap matinee prices. I'm not a night owl, I'm pretty quiet, I'm very clean and tidy, I'm looking for similar.

About the cat - he is very friendly and will lay in your lap for hours if you invite him to. If you avoid eye contact and give him the cold shoulder he won't bother you, he's pretty good and figuring out who is a cat person and who isn't. His name is Sir Licks A Lot, he's 13 but is extremely playful.
