Shannon B - $1,600/month

I currently live in southern Westchester County, but recently accepted a full time position as the manager of a Pilates studio in Manhattan. I'm looking to move by January 2019, but will move sooner - ideally would like to be in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I am also a certified classical Pilates instructor, and teach clients privately in addition to my management position.

When I'm not at the Pilates studio, I pursue a career in film and television. Some weeks, my life is very 8-4, but if I'm on set, or have multiple auditions during the week, my work life can be very chaotic - I'll often work evenings, and occasionally weekends, depending on what I've got going on between a full time job and acting.

My friends/previous roommates would describe me as laid back/easy going. I prefer a clean space, especially the kitchen and shared spaces. I'm a bit of a minimalist, both in style and function, and don't love a lot of clutter. I'm a big cook/foodie, and love cooking for my friends (or anyone really - the more the merrier!). I'm also a voracious reader, fitness/health enthusiast, and travel whenever I can make time. I think matching with a new roommate could be a fun opportunity to explore a new neighborhood together, and hopefully become good friends in the process.

I'm a huge animal lover, and dogs are okay, but I'm unfortunately allergic to cats. I often dog sit for friends and family (at their apartments), and every once in a while take my parents' mini golden doodle, Emma, for a few days to week at a time while they travel. She's 17 lbs of fluff, non-shedding, and loves people - I hope she'll be a welcome addition time to time wherever I end up moving.
