Looking for a roommate in Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan - New York

Mark B - $1,200/month

About Me

Hello there, my name is Mark!

Background Story:

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but spent the last six years living in San Francisco. I absolutely hated San Francisco, so I decided to take a little break. By "little break," I mean I quit my job, shoved all my belongings into storage and moved out of my San Francisco apartment so I could travel for two and a half months.

My original plan was to return to SF after my short break, but then I realized, why go back there if I hate it so much? For the first time in my life, I have absolutely nothing tying me down; so, I'm seizing this opportunity to do something that scares me, but will (hopefully) be beneficial for me.

This is why I'm on Diggz. I'm packing my belongings and moving to the opposite side of the country, and finding the perfect roommate would make this transition a little less nerve-wracking.

About Me:

I'm gay, so an LGBT-friendly household is a must.

I don't have any pets, but I love cats and dogs and I'm not allergic to either.

When it comes to living with guys vs. gals, I don't have a preference. I've lived with both and have never had any problems.

What I plan on doing in New York is working part-time and going to school part-time. Right now I'm in the process of getting myself into grad school for Architecture, so what better city to do it in than New York?

In my last apartment, I was the main tenant, so I'm responsible enough to pay the rent on time and communicate with tenants and landlords about any issues that may arise.

On my spare time, I love to watch baseball and basketball, go on hikes, walk around aimlessly, and check out different bars and restaurants.

Pet-peeves: I can't stand a messy bathroom.
