Hello! I recently earned my Ph.D. in Psychology and I'm looking for a decent place in NYC.
I am a clean and respectful person and I do not smoke or do any drugs. I drink socially. I'm an easy person to become friends with, a great listener, and very empathetic. I am career focused and a professional, I will be working standard day job hours.
I prefer to live in Manhattan or Brooklyn. A safe, clean, friendly, and quiet neighborhood would be great. Somewhere relatively close to a subway would be great too. Also washer/dryer in the apartment would be soooo nice.
I do not have any pets but I would like to have a dog someday but it is not a necessity at this time. If you have pets that is cool with me!
My move in time is sometime in July but is somewhat flexible as I am currently applying/interviewing for jobs and do not have a definite start date yet.
At the moment I am in Florida so it is difficult for me to look at places in person.
I like stand-up and improv comedy, art, music, coffee, exercising/lifting weights, reading, Asian food, and anything 80's or 90's related. In my free time I would be exploring the city, but I do like some nights in to relax and watch tv/hangout/play board games. I'm not a big party person and like having a small group of close friends.
Open to Male or Female roommates.
If you have any questions about me feel free to ask!
