I'm a tidy, bookish, quiet, considerate 39-year-old, who works full-time producing art catalogues for a well-known NYC museum. Maintaining a clean apartment is important to me, as well as being conscientious how common spaces are used.

Furnished bedroom available in two-bedroom brownstone apartment. The room comes furnished with a daybed, a desk, and a cabinet/dresser. The available bedroom is 7' x 15' and has a window that faces the backyard. (A large tree blossoms just outside the bedroom window.) There are no closets in the bedroom, but there is one hallway closet available exclusively for the occupant, plus a shared closet that can be used for storage.
The apartment is a charming brownstone with hardwood floors, located on the top floor of a 4-story walk-up. It's peaceful, sits on a lovely, tree-lined street in Fort Greene, but is also centrally located, surrounded by exceptional restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. The location couldn't be better. The Brooklyn Academy of Music is just two blocks away. Fort Greene Park is also just two blocks away (where there is a farmer's market every weekend). A Citi Bike bike sharing stall is located at the end of our block. (All the popular Brooklyn neighborhoods are easily accessible from here by bike.)
Just one block away is Barclays Center and the Atlantic Terminal (2/3/4/5/B/D/N/Q/R/LIRR). The Fulton G train stop is one block away, and the Lafayette C train stop is three blocks away.
You'll be sharing the space with a tidy, bookish, quiet, considerate 39-year-old gentleman, who works full-time producing art catalogues for a well-known NYC museum. Maintaining a clean apartment is important, as well as being conscientious how common spaces are used.
The rent is $1300 per month plus utilities (gas, electricity, internet). The utilities usually come to approximately $75/month per person. One month deposit is required along with the first month's rent.
