Hi hey hello! I am currently looking to fill one fully furnished bedroom in my West Village apartment.

The building is a co-op, and the apartment is owned by my aunt who lives abroad. I sublet directly from her, and am allowed one "permitted occupant" under co-op rules. You may be asked to interview with the Co-op Board, but I have been able to skip this step in the past.

As a roommate, I am open, communicative, friendly, and respectful. I like to spend time together and apart, and will happily respect your time and space to do the same. I am clean and fairly organized, and like to keep my home the same way. I can easily live with a little temporary mess, and often do when life gets crazy, but always find time to reset and reorganize. In the past I have enjoyed becoming close friends with roommates, spending time together both in and out of the apartment. An ideal roommate for me would be someone who is happy to spend time in our own spaces, doing our own things, but who is also looking to foster friendship and community within our home.

Friends and family are welcome, but let's keep the parties to a minimum - I've still got to keep up appearances with the co-op board, and this pre-war building has got thin walls and floors. I'm on the top floor and make frequent use of the fire escape for afternoon sun or an evening aperitif (shh, don't tell the property management firm), but make a conscious effort to be respectful to my neighbors. The apartment is comfortable and spacious with a lot of old-New-York charm.

I do not currently own pets but would absolutely love to adopt a dog at some point, and am happy to discuss logistics and preferences. Located right off the 1,2,3 trains, within 3 minutes walk of the L and F trains, and no more than 10 minutes walk to Union Square and West 4th St, I promise your morning commute just got easier. It's a 6 story building with a beautiful lobby and an elevator. Laundry in the basement, live-in super, and friendly neighbors who never steal your mail!
