I have 1 room for rent in a 3 bedroom craftsman house on the Oakland Emeryville border on Market Street between MacArthur and 37th.
The available room is the back bedroom. It can easily fit a full sized bed, desk and dresser. It’s got a stunning view of the garden including tons of hummingbirds and butterflies. This room gets ample natural light and comes with a very sturdy curtain so the light doesn’t wake you up. It is roughly 12x8.
The house has vaulted ceilings, pocket doors, hardwood floors throughout, centralized heating, full sized washer and dryer, dishwasher and garbage disposal. It almost never gets hot in the summer and is always cozy in the winter. There is a fenced in backyard, raised garden beds and a small clean shed with a lot of storage that can also be used as a workshop (with electricity.)
The area is very quiet at night with a minimal amount of noise during the day. It is a very friendly neighborhood with many long-time residents.
About me: I’m female, in my 40’s, creative, likes to laugh, stands by her word and values timeliness. My communication style is "Say what you mean, mean what you say and don't say it mean."
About the roommate in the 3rd room: He is in his 40’s, is rather quiet but very welcoming. He is a therapist who attends his practice in San Francisco several times a week.
