The Roommates:
Both young working professionals that enjoy food, drinking wine, watching HGTV, and exploring NYC. We both have busy schedules but like that we can come home to relaxing space and hang out and generally enjoy being around each other. We also have two cats that are very nice and clean and weird. They have relatively free roam of the apartment during the day, but all accessories/responsibility are contained in the room of the roommate who owns them and they typically spend the evenings in there.
You:
Someone friendly, considerate, and clean, who has a life outside the apartment but is also game to have a glass of wine (or whatever) and hang out from time to time. We generally try to keep our space pretty clean and look to share responsibilities for our common spaces. Our schedules are sometimes very different, but we get along great and are looking for someone who's willing to go for tacos, head to the park, or wander through Ikea when we are home.

Small bedroom opening in a great, light-filled apartment in Carroll Gardens! Looking for a new roommate for an 8/1 move in to re-sign the lease with 2 existing roommates. Rent is $1150/month + deposit and $250 application/lease change fees.
The Room/Apartment:
- 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
- 4th floor of a historic brownstone (we are the only apartment on the floor)
- Dishwasher
- AC Units in each room
- Heat/Hot water included - we pay gas, electric, and internet, usually never more than about $40ish/per month for each person
- Laundromat is across the street
- Bedroom is 8'x10' and has a small closet and full window. The current occupant has a queen-sized bed, and there's the option to utilize a hall closet as well for additional storage.
- 3 blocks to F/G subway station (20-30 minutes to mid-town Manhattan)
Neighborhood highlights:
- 15 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park
- Quiet street but within a short walk to lots of fun bars, restaurants, and shops.
- VERY safe neighborhood - lots of brownstones and families
- Walking distance to assorted grocery stores, Trader Joe's, Royal Palms, Pig Beach, Pok Pok, Long Island Bar, Atlantic Ave, Court & Smith Streets, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Red Hook, Gowanus, etc
- Across the street from Lucali's pizza (aka we put our names in when they open and then have cocktail hour at home while we wait for the table)
