420 friendly. I'm an actor who also gets paid to watch sports from home. (For real haha.) So most nights I'm either off doing a show or working with sports on (and sometimes video games) in the living room. I'm a night owl who likes to sleep in.
My previous roommate had a 9-5, and you won't hear any noise from the living room if you are someone who goes to bed early. (Plus you'll have the bathroom to yourself in the morning).
I'm kinda messy, but I try to be respectful of shared areas. Not much of a partier these days other than the occasional beer and going to the nearby Irish pub on Sundays for football.
I'm much more of the hang out on the couch with video games, 420, and sports/tv/movies kinda guy. I'm not a high maintenance roommate.
My home is my place to relax, so I don't have people over all that often and would prefer a roommate who feels the same way.
Other than that, looking for someone who is friendly and respectful and pays bills/rent on time. I also don't really cook (although I'm trying to learn) so you'll have pretty much free reign over the kitchen.
The landlord allows some pets (no dogs unfortunately) and I have two guinea pigs that live in their cage in the corner of the living room. I'm open if you have additional pets!

I'm looking for a roommate to move in to an open room in my ground floor two bedroom apartment in Astoria. Landlord is fully renovating the bathroom in January, so move in date is flexible (Jan, Feb, March)
Must be 420 friendly.
Bedroom will be completely empty, other rooms are fully furnished. 900/month (heat and hot water included), other utilities are extra. 12 month lease. Landlord wants to do standard credit check on any potential roommate and requires a $900 security deposit upon move in.
3 blocks from the R/M trains in Astoria, near the Broadway/Steinway area. Tons of great bars and restaurants in the area.
Building only has 3 apartments, so it's not noisy. Nice neighbors.
