Looking for a roommate in Manhattan - New York

D.D. M - $1,400/month

About Me

I am a quiet, neat, friendly and happy non-smoking female coming to NYC for grad school at Columbia this Fall. Ideally, I would like to share a nice apartment with a mature, working professional or an individual with an established life/routine. I've got a small Border Terrier named Watson, who is well-trained, friendly and good with everyone he meets. He's a maintenance charmer and he gets along well with cats and other dogs. I love to cook (when I've got time), and I have been a masters competitive rower for nearly ten years. I enjoy coffee in the morning, wine in the evening and adventures exploring restaurants on weekends. I'm really looking forward to my move to Manhattan.

I'm currently finishing up a degree in Seattle, where I live with my partner, Watson, and our two cats. Our plan is for Watson and I to live in NYC, while my partner works and lives in a nearby commuter city, since her work will likely not be in NYC. I recently spent a semester living in London conducting research, so we've had some practice with distance and we feel good about this arrangement. My degree program (philosophy and education) will take between 18 months and two years, and I'd love to find a roomie for the duration of my time in NYC.

My maximum monthly budget 1,400
Move in Date Aug 2018
Lease Duration 1 Year
Age 49
Occupation Graduate Student
Pets Dog
Hometown Seattle, Wa, Usa

We think D.D. would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
