Hi there! My day job is as the Creativity Coach for an online company. My passion is writing and composing for the theater. I spend a lot of time in my room, writing and working, but I do like to go out occasionally. I lived in LA for most of my adult life, and moved to NY a year ago. I love love love it. I see a lot of theater. I'm pretty passionate and hard-working, when it comes to writing, so I spend a lot of time doing that, and really enjoy it. I'm gay, and would be happy with a roommate of any gender/orientation. (I love drama in a theater, but not in the apartment please.)

It's a very pretty "classic NY" apartment (more like the ones on TV, and less like the ones in real life!). The exposed brick and dark wood window frames are great. The ceilings are high, which is nice. The bathroom isn't next to either bedroom, and the walls are pretty sound-proof (and it's a fairly quiet building). (There is construction going on nearby during the day during the week. I'm not sure how much longer that's happening, but it's not too bad. If I'm sleeping in late, I sometimes wear earplugs.) It's a really comfortable, large (relatively speaking), safe apartment.
The management company requires a pretty big deposit, or you have to make a lot of money, or have a co-signer. It's a bit of a pain, but otherwise, the rental company is very good. The place is a great value, but the deposit/signing process is a bit of a pain.
